2017 a year in review

It's officially 2018! I can not believe that another year has come and gone. Where did the time go!? 2017 was a good year one filled with happiness and challenges both personally and professionally. My husband and I moved across the country yet again, this time back to the east coast to South Carolina. We moved here almost exactly a year ago and I am really enjoying getting to know our new home. We have made fast friends with several in the area and its really nice to be back close to family. However, I terribly miss the PNW, along with all it's culture and beauty. But what I miss most about the west coast is our friends! I tell people that the south is home, but I left my heart on the west coast. I'm hoping to soon go back to Washington for a visit!

Professionally it has be a huge challenge restarting my business across the country and in a new state. It was so hard to leave behind a thriving business back in Olympia, Wa and I miss my clients! However, sense I've been here in South Carolina I have had the privilege of shooting several weddings and one of those happened to be for my very own sister. Its was a gorgeous wedding if I must say so myself! I also had the honor of photographing two long time friends weddings. I had the chance to be apart of a stunning styled shoot that was an amazing experience as well. And I've met and worked with several other photographers here in the area and I'm loving getting to know other fellow wedding photographers and vendors.

I have so many favorites from all my weddings and photoshoots this year, but here are just a handful of some of my favorite weddings and portrait sessions. Thank you to my friends, family and clients that made this year memorable and amazing. I can't wait to see what 2018 holds for me!
