Pantone color scheme wedding
So you know how the color of the year for 2018 was Pantone? Myself and several of my Augusta, GA wedding photographers talked about if we thought this trend would take off and if we even like the color. Honesty, I didn't really have a strong opinion either way. I like purple, but I wouldn't consider it my favorite color. And some shades of purple are more attractive than others. I love the soft look of a pastel lavender, but I also like the more saturated and deep plum color too. However, purple is a color that looks good on all skin tones, so maybe brides will pick this color for their bridesmaids dresses since it would complement the varying skin tones of her bridesmaids. Want to see some examples of a lavender themed wedding? I have a friend and fellow Columbia, SC wedding photographer that planned and arranged a lavender theme styled shoot. She had it at an actual Lavender farm in Geer, SC. It was a beautiful shoot filled with lots of lavender details. What do you think? Do you like this trend? Or are you ready to see what the color of 2019 will be?
