Wedding at Cobblestone Park Golf & Country Club | Blythewood, SC

I love shooting weddings and when a bride and groom choose me as their Columbia, SC wedding photographer I eagerly anticipate their wedding day when I can photograph their love and the celebration of their marriage. With that said as an Augusta, GA wedding photographer there are slow seasons, even slow years when you have a few months out of the year that you aren't booked solid. So when that happens I use this time to catch up on household duties or just take a break and breath for while. But as a creatively driven person I can only clean the toilets so many times, or watch TV for so long before I get bored and feel like climbing the walls. I am one of those people that really enjoys having a project to work on, that feeling of accomplishing something that you've worked hard for excites me, and most of all I love dreaming up styled shoot ideas (senior portraits and weddings) and seeing those ideas come to life as I photograph pretty things and happy people makes my heart smile. Therefore, I am often thinking of shoots I want to plan, and I get my inspiration from landscapes, hair and makeup ideas, and often fashion (especially wedding dresses) these types of things gets the creative side of my brain all excited and I start the process of planning a shoot. Which brings me to this styled wedding shoot that I am sharing with you today. I planned a styled wedding shoot in Blythewood, SC at Cobblestone Park Golf and Country Club back in April. I had an idea to do a classic wedding theme but with a modern twist with using geometric centerpieces and a modern wedding invitation suite. So I started with a color palette of navy and gold, classic wedding colors, right? And taking into consideration the venue being a country club a classic southern wedding would fit perfectly! I reached out to several vendors to see if they would be interested in doing this shoot with me and they were all happy to be apart of the shoot. Then came the hard part finding models that were available on the day of the shoot. But a friend of mine and fellow wedding photographer, Courtney Vaughan said that her and her husband would ecstatic to be my models for the day. They are so adorable and their connection was something truly spectacular to witness. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this shoot so much and I can't wait for you to see some of the photos from the day. Hope you love them as much as I do!
