For more than sixteen years, l've had the privilege of photographing hundreds of people and telling their stories through images that are timeless, emotional, and true to who they are.
THE GIRL BEHIND THE LENS
I'm a Tampa and Sarasota photographer specializing in weddings, elopements, branding, headshots, senior portraits, and food photography.
Most people believe they're awkward in front of the camera. I get it because I used to feel the same way! That's where I come in.
One of my greatest strengths is helping people feel comfortable and confident during their session. I've spent years studying posing, body language, lighting, and styling so you never have to wonder what to do or worry about looking unnatural. My job is to guide you every step of the way and create images that feel authentic, flattering, and like you at your best, not someone you are trying to be.
My photography style is a blend of fine art, editorial, and lifestyle photography with a timeless, film inspired aesthetic.
MY FAVORITE THINGS
LIFE OUTSIDE THE CAMERA
When I am not behind the camera, you will usually find me with my husband of 23 years. He is truly my best friend, and we love doing life together in the simplest ways. We can turn a trip to Publix into a “hot date,” talk about how badly we need rain like it is breaking news, or spend an entire evening playing our own ridiculous versions of “would you rather.”
CREATIVE AT HEART
If I were not a photographer, I would be doing something creative like interior design. I love creating beautiful, intentional spaces that feel warm and inviting.
LITTLE OBSESSIONS
I am drawn to all things feminine and pretty. Shoes, nail polish, and eyeshadow palettes are a bit of a weakness.
ORCHIDS
Orchids are my favorite flower. I have had my share of casualties, but I am currently keeping two alive.
FOOD AND TRAVEL
Food is a big part of my life. I love cooking, trying new restaurants, and planning trips around what we will eat. Favorites include beef tartare, seafood, and a really good salad. Crème brûlée always wins.
MUSIC AND NOSTALGIA
Music is a constant in my life and strongly tied to emotion and memory. I grew up on 80s and 90s music, so you will often catch me singing along. My husband and I also love playing Name That Tune at home instead of watching TV.
BOOKS AND ESCAPE
I love a good thriller or "who done it" book, especially ones where I try to solve the mystery before the end.
WORKING OUT
Staying active is something I really value in my day to day life. The gym is my happy place, especially when I am lifting weights.
DOG LOVER
I am a dog person through and through. We have two large, lazy doodles who have no concept of personal space. Our relationship is fully co-dependent and I would not have it any other way. Life just feels better with dogs by my side, and honestly, I cannot imagine ever not having one.
