A Sweet Food Photography Session with Bakery X

in Wesley Chapel, Florida

As a Wesley Chapel food photographer, few things bring me more joy than working with local businesses that truly care about quality, flavor, and authenticity—and Bakery X at The Krates in Wesley Chapel is the perfect example of that. Their pastries aren’t just beautiful—they’re authentically French, made with imported ingredients like A.O.P. French butter and flour sourced directly from France. The moment you unwrap one of their croissants, you can smell the difference: rich, nutty, and impossibly buttery. These pastries are the real deal.

For this shoot, I had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeous assortment of their bestsellers—pain au chocolat, fruit tarts, almond croissants, buttery brioche, and more right in my home studio. Bakery X delivered the pastries fresh that morning, and I built each scene with props that let the texture, shape, and golden color of each item shine. When a restaurant, bar, or bakery hires me as their food photographer, it’s always my goal to create images that make viewers want to reach through the screen and take a bite, and these pastries made that easy. Each one was flaky, layered, and crafted with the same care you'd find at a corner pâtisserie in Paris.

Food Styling with Intention

When I do a food photography session I love using props that complement the product without overpowering it. For this session, I pulled in delicate linen napkins, handmade ceramic plates, and rustic cutting boards to add warmth and elegance while keeping the spotlight on the pastries themselves. Since Bakery X imports its ingredients directly from France, I wanted the images to feel refined and minimal, with a Parisian aesthetic that reflected the brand’s authenticity.

Why I Love Being a Food Photographer

There’s something magical about photographing food—especially when it’s made with so much love and craftsmanship. Whether it's a branding shoot for a bakery or a lifestyle image for a café, I thrive on creating food photos that make people feel something before they even take a bite. As a Wesley Chapel food photographer, I get to collaborate with small business owners, elevate their marketing content, and tell their story through carefully styled, crave-worthy images. It’s equal parts creative and strategic and I genuinely love every minute of being a food photographer here in Wesley Chapel.
