So welcome to the Thomas House & Garden in Ridgeway, SC! This venue gives you and your wedding guests the chance to step back in time where history, elegance and sophistication abounds, all for an affordable price!
History :
Built in 1906 by Mr. Robert Charleton Thomas, The Thomas House was added to the National Historic Register in 1970. The Victorian architecture is a bit unusal for the surrounding puritan area. When you visit the home, note the granite carriage step in the rear yard. Also known as a mounting block, or stepping stone, it was most likely mined at the Kinkade Anderson Mine in Farifield County. This granite step was used to assist ladies entering a horse drawn carriage when the home was built.

Perfectly located in Ridgeway, SC; a quintessential small southern town, The Thomas House & Garden is only ten minutes from Blythewood, twenty-five minutes to downtown Columbia, thirty minutes to Irmo and Lexington, and one hour to Charlotte.
Inside the Home :
The house it self have been renovated and updated with modern amenities all while keeping the integrity of the period of the home. The kitchen has been completely renovated with all the modern luxuries for your catering company to work in. The bathrooms have been updated but still have the charm of when the home was built, clawfoot tubs and all! The Thomas House and Garden features a beautiful 1,500 sq ft bridal suite! Plenty of seating, open space, natural light, and full length mirrors ensure that your wedding party will get ready in luxury! Their blue velvet couch is perfect for bridal portraits, and there are numerous options for amazing "getting ready' pictures to ensure you preserve the memories of your day! The bride and groom's rooms are separate spaces with separate bathrooms.

TWO DAY RENTALS Exclusive use of the venue and grounds (Decorating, Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony, and/or Reception)
Thursday (3:00pm- 9:00pm) & Friday (9:00am - 9:00pm) - $2,500
Friday (3:00pm - 9:00pm) & Saturday (9:00am - 9:00pm) - $3,500
