Micro weddings and elopements continue to be one of my favorite types of celebrations to photograph and this intimate wedding at Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay was truly unforgettable. Surrounded by water palm trees and soft coastal light the setting felt both elegant and peaceful. As a Tampa elopement photographer I love when couples choose meaningful intimate celebrations that allow them to slow down and truly enjoy every moment of their day.

The couple chose Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay for its serene waterfront views and effortless elegance. We began the day with their getting ready moments all on the property which allowed the day to flow naturally and without stress. Photographing these quiet moments is something I value deeply because they often hold the most emotion. Working as a Tampa elopement photographer has shown me that when everything happens in one place couples are able to stay present and relaxed.

Their first look also took place on the grounds surrounded by lush greenery and soft natural light. It was an incredibly intimate moment shared just between the two of them and capturing that emotion is one of my favorite parts of documenting micro weddings. As someone who photographs elopements in Tampa I always encourage couples to consider a first look because it creates space for connection and calm before the ceremony. A private moment just for the two of you!

After the first look we spent time creating portraits throughout the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay property. From waterfront paths to tropical landscaping the grounds offered a variety of beautiful backdrops. Having portrait time built into the day without rushing allowed their personalities and connection to truly shine. As a Tampa elopement photographer I find that this relaxed pace always results in more natural and meaningful wedding images.

The ceremony took place at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.. With a small guest count the focus stayed entirely on the couple and the commitment they were making to one another. Photographing intimate ceremonies like this is one of the reasons I love specializing in elopements and micro weddings around Tampa, St Pete, and Sarasota..

Following the ceremony the celebration continued with an intimate reception held in a private dining area at Flemings Steakhouse. in Tampa The cozy elegant setting was perfect for a heartfelt dinner celebration with their closest family and friends. As a Tampa elopement photographer I love when couples choose unique reception experiences that feel personal and intentional rather than traditional.

This micro wedding at Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay was a beautiful reminder that weddings do not need to be large to be meaningful.
