Recently I had the chance to photograph one of Sarasota’s most beloved restaurants, Libby’s Neighborhood Brasserie, and it was such an exciting project as their food and branding photographer. From beautifully plated dishes to refreshing mocktails, everything was as photogenic as it was delicious. As a Tampa food photographer, I always love the challenge of capturing food in a way that highlights both its flavor and presentation, and Libby’s menu did not disappoint.

Alongside the food, Libby’s offers an incredible lineup of mocktails. Photographing them was a chance to play with light and color, making sure each drink looked as refreshing as it tastes. At Libby’s, the atmosphere is warm, stylish, and welcoming, with an energy that makes you want to linger and enjoy every moment. The staff plays a huge role in creating that environment. From the way they present dishes to the way they greet guests with a smile, every detail reflects the heart of the restaurant. Being their food photographer and capturing lifestyle and candid images of the staff in action was just as important as photographing the food itself, because it shows the soul behind the brand.
