Here are 5 tips on what to do next.
After reading all these reasons to why you migh consider rebranding your business in my last blog post, you might have decided to start the process of rebranding. However, you might feel a little overwhelmed when thinking about wehre to start when choosing the overall look to your new brand. So I thought I would write another helpful blog post for those that are wanting to rebrand.
1: MAKE A GOALS LIST:
No matter what kind of business you own, it’s extremely important to have a clear vision as to what your business goals are. Step 1, search for any issues in your currently business strategy. Step 2 work towards making postive changes in findng solutions to those problems. Something you need to consider is looking at your competition and seeing ways on how you can be different. Or it might be you are going to be taking away some services you've always offered or adding a few new ones. Perhaps you are opening a store front or adding an additional location. In any senario all of these factors need to be analyzed in your goals list.
2: REACH OUT TO PROFESSIONALS:
Once you have your goals list made and prioritized it's time to get moving on making those goals a reality. However sometimes we have to out source some of those things. For example, let's say you sell a product such as candles but your only source of advertising has been word of mouth and social media. You see the need for a website but have no idea where to start. This is where hiring a professional website designer would be extremely helpful. Not only can they help you design it but they will also put in the back end work for your SEO and optimizing your website so that future clients can find you via a Google search. Same goes with a new logo, graphic designers can help you take your business to the next level with a professional and beautiful logo. There are so many things you can outsource to make your life easier as a business owner.
3: CREATE A MARKETING STRATEGY:
This point is an extension of number 2. If you know you have a hard time with marketing, social media content, blogging, etc you can find a professional that will do it for you so you don't have stress over it. Therefore, even before you launch your new brand, having your new marketing plan set and ready to go plays a large part in the rebranding process. Take into consideration which hashtags you'll use for social media, how often you'll blog, if you'll advertise in printed or online magazines, Pinterest posts, email campaigns, TV or radio, just to name a few.
4: HIRE A PHOTOGRAPHER
Obviously I can't skip this one! Hiring a professional personal branding photographer will help you in the following five ways. 1: Business branding photos gives your clients a great first impression. 2: Gives a clear identity to your business. 3: It helps people trust you. 4: Business branding photos boots sales. 5: Photoshoots are so much fun! 5: LAUNCH YOUR NEW BRAND
Now comes the exciting part! Give your current clients and followers teasers of what's next for your business! By announcing upcoming changes this will get your customers curiosity going. The point of sharing little hints about your rebrand will get them excited for you and leave them wanting more. Once you're ready launch that new brand with a big bang. Why not go live on Instagram to share your new brand? Or a good ole ribbon cutting if you have a store front. The possibilities are endless!
