Wedding at The Thomas House and Garden
I am so excited to share with your some vintage wedding inspiration from a styled wedding shoot I planned a couple months ago at the Thomas House and Gardens in Ridgeway, SC. You might have read in a previous blog post of mine about this new wedding venue. (you can read about the venue here.) The Thomas House and Garden is a 1906 victorian home that has been completely updated while keeping with the period of when the home was originally built. My friend that owns the home decided to turn it into a small event space specializing in intimate weddings and elopements. This home is also the perfect place to host a baby shower or bridal shower. Because of how beautiful this venue is I wanted the chance to shoot at it. So I had an idea for a vintage inspired elopement. I had a full ballgown skirt and top from Mr. Pretty Skirt that would fit perfectly into the theme. And I had a vintage Ford Model T car for the shoot as well. Hair and makeup was provided by Charlotte hair makeup artist Wink Inspired Beauty, the jewelry is from Versona, and the grooms suite is from Huntersville, NC based bridal shop Paige and Elliott. I love everything about being a Columbia, SC wedding photographer and I love the chance to shoot couples in love at beautiful venues just like this one!
